Loftlines Partners with Enterprise to Launch Car Club in Titanic Quarter
16 October 2026
Loftlines, Belfast’s new residential neighbourhood in Titanic Quarter, has partnered with Enterprise to introduce a new car club location at the development, providing convenient, on-demand access to shared vehicles in Titanic Quarter.
The service will be available to the wider public, while Loftlines residents will receive one year’s complimentary Enterprise Car Club membership together with driving credit, giving them convenient access to a vehicle when needed without the ongoing costs and commitment associated with private car ownership.
The initiative forms part of Loftlines’ wider approach to sustainable travel, complementing the neighbourhood’s strong walking, cycling and public transport connections and providing residents with greater choice in how they travel.
Already established across L&G’s Build-to-Rent (BTR) portfolio in Great Britain, car clubs have proven popular with residents by providing greater flexibility and supporting more sustainable travel choices.
L&G invested more than £150 million in Loftlines BTR homes, and Adam Burney, Head of BTR & PBSA at L&G, commented:
At L&G, we’re continually looking at ways to enhance the resident experience whilst supporting more sustainable communities. Car clubs have been an incredibly successful feature across our Build-to-Rent portfolio, giving residents the flexibility of having a car whenever they need it, without the financial commitment and environmental impact of owning it full-time.
As Northern Ireland’s first Build-to-Rent development, Loftlines is introducing an entirely new way of renting, so it was important that we brought with it the kinds of resident benefits that have become synonymous with the very best Build-to-Rent developments across the UK and that deliver real benefit.
We’re pleased to be partnering with Enterprise to introduce a residential car club at Loftlines, offering residents another valuable lifestyle benefit while supporting Belfast’s ambitions for greener, more connected urban living.
The car club initiative forms part of Loftlines’ wider Green Travel Strategy, designed to make it easier for residents to embrace connected, city living. Alongside the car club, residents also have access to Belfast Bikes Scheme memberships, bicycle vouchers, public transport travel cards and excellent connectivity via nearby Glider routes, rail services, bus links, cycle infrastructure and extensive public walkways.
Jason Parks, Director of Enterprise Car Club at Enterprise Mobility, added:
At Enterprise, we believe the future of urban travel is not just about giving people more choice but giving them smarter choices.
Shared mobility has a key role to play alongside walking, cycling and public transport, helping people travel across cities more sustainably while still having access to a vehicle whenever they need one.
Having already established Enterprise Car Club across businesses and communities throughout the region, we’re proud to be partnering with L&G to bring this proven model into a residential setting at Loftlines and support a new generation of city living in Belfast.
Welcoming the introduction of Enterprise Car Club, Titanic Quarter CEO, James Eyre, commented:
The introduction of Enterprise Car Club at Loftlines is another welcome addition to the growing range of sustainable and convenient transport options available across Titanic Quarter.
Creating a well-connected residential community where people have choice in how they travel is an important part of our wider approach to sustainable placemaking. Alongside excellent public transport connections, walking and cycling infrastructure, Beryl Bikes and other shared mobility options, the car club provides another practical alternative to reliance on private car ownership and encourages people to commute in more flexible ways.
As the community at Titanic Quarter continues to grow, initiatives like this enhance the area and further strengthen it as a connected, accessible and sustainable place to live, work, visit and stay.
Loftlines is home to Belfast’s first Build-to-Rent development, delivering 627 professionally managed homes alongside the city’s most comprehensive range of resident amenities, including a state-of-the-art gym, rooftop terraces, co-working spaces, private dining rooms, resident lounges, a podcast studio and a year-round programme of community events designed to foster connection and create an exceptional rental experience.
