Belfast Met and Queen’s University Belfast Forge New Education Partnership in Titanic Quarter

Titanic Quarter is delighted to celebrate the announcement of a new strategic partnership between Belfast Metropolitan College and Queen’s University Belfast, marking another exciting milestone for education and innovation in one of Europe’s most dynamic waterfront destinations.

The partnership, formally launched at Belfast Met’s Titanic Quarter campus, will enhance pathways for learners across Northern Ireland – creating new opportunities to progress from further education into higher education and industry.

This collaboration brings together two of Northern Ireland’s leading education providers, combining Belfast Met’s expertise in vocational training with Queen’s academic excellence and research capability. Together, they will deliver innovative programmes designed to address emerging skills needs and support economic growth in key sectors such as technology, engineering, and life sciences.

The partnership will also provide students with access to real-world experience through placements and projects with employers based in Titanic Quarter – home to over 100 national and international companies, cutting-edge research centres, and a vibrant education cluster.
