Whether you’re a science enthusiast or simply curious about the blueprint of life, join us and delve into the TAS2R38 gene, responsible for coding a taste receptor on the tongue. This hands-on experience for adults will guide you through laboratory techniques such as DNA isolation, polymerase chain reaction (PCR), restriction enzyme digests, and gel electrophoresis to discover if your phenotype matches your genotype.
