Residential Demand Grows for Destination Titanic Quarter

It’s one of the world’s largest active regeneration projects, a 21st century urban neighbourhood in the heart of central Belfast’s historic waterfront, and Titanic Quarter is peaking commercial and residential investor interest. Speaking at MIPIM 2018, James Eyre, commercial director for Titanic Quarter Limited, says the area has an exciting year ahead.

Steeped in memories of a bygone era when Belfast pioneered the industrial revolution, today’s vibrant Titanic Quarter is enjoyed daily by over 18,000 people who live, work, study and play here.  In the past decade, Titanic Quarter has grown from a concept and masterplan into its reality of a thriving, bustling destination. 

Belfast itself is a city transformed – the economic and cultural heart of the region.  With world class universities, leading creative and technology sectors and a high quality of life, Mercer Quality of Living rankings name Belfast as one of the top five cities in the UK.  

In Titanic Quarter, we have seen first-hand the desire to live in Belfast. Our landmark residential development, the ARC, includes 474 one, two and three-bedroom apartments and penthouses. Centrally located, Titanic Quarter is within walking distance to all that Belfast has to offer. Motorways are easily accessible, public transport is excellent with regular buses, our own Titanic Quarter train halt, and later this year, the Belfast Rapid Transport, a new glider style bus operation will launch in Titanic Quarter. The George Best City Airport is just a 5-minute drive away – in fact, any city in the UK is reachable from Belfast in 90 minutes. 

Planning permission is in place for the next 2000 apartments homes in Titanic Quarter, and in conjunction with all our other development plans, we have no doubt the demand to live here will continue to grow.
